About the Event

T.S. Mishra Law School is pleased to announcethe 1st Online National Quiz Competition for checking the comprehensive understanding and awareness of the Three New Criminal Laws (i.e. Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam) among the students. The Online Quiz is scheduled to be held on 20th July, from 02 P.M. onwards. Registrations for the same are open now.

The T.S. Mishra University, Lucknow has been established as a memorial to the Late Justice Tribeni Sahai Misra, whose commitment to Education inspired the founding members to create a Centre of Excellence for Learning, Knowledge and Wisdom.

Details of the Event

India’s Criminal Justice System has begun a new chapter with the enactment of the New Criminal Laws, 2023 in December 2023. The Purpose of these new Acts is to deliver justice, not punishment. The New Criminal Laws will set to come into force from 1st July 2024.

The T.S. Mishra Law School is organising its very 1st National Online Quiz Competition on the THREE NEW CRIMINAL LAWS. This Quiz will analyse and judge the Law Students in-depth awareness, broader perspective and scope of the three Novel Criminal Laws, 2023 which are set to replace the British Era Colonial Laws, namely, The Indian Penal Code, 1860, The Code of Criminal Procedure,1973 and The Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
