The day is not far away when lawyers need not carry files and journals to the courtroom and can appear in court paperless. At present, two courts are running paperless in the High Court of Jharkhand, and the case proceedings of one court are live streaming,” asserted Justice Sen.
In the event of an esteemed gathering, including the presence of all Judges of the hHgh Court of Jharkhand, Advocate General, Additional Advocate General, Additional Solicitors Generals, Deputy Solicitors Generals, Chairman of the Jharkhand State Bar Council, and other dignitaries, Addressing these gatherings, acting Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court Shree Chandrashkhar highlighted the transformative impact of technology on court proceedings. He also mentioned reducing the case pendency of cases by disposing of more than 24000 cases between 1st January 2024 and April 30th, 2024. 
With only 19 judges who constitute five division benches and nine single judge benches, the High Court of Jharkhand strived hard towards bringing down the pendency of cases,” remarked the Acting Chief Justice.
