Dr. Asif Iqubal Shah is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Law at the Xavier Law School, St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. Prior to that he was associated with Aligarh Muslim University, Centre Murshidabad as an Assistant Professor in the Department of law. A Graduate and Post-Graduate in Law from the Department of Law, University of Calcutta, Dr. Asif has been awarded Ph.D in Law from KIIT (Deemed to be) University. He has prime interest in Criminology, Penology and Criminal Justice Administration and has published articles in renowned national and international journals including Scopus (UGC-Care Group-II) and other peer-reviewed journals.
