About the JOB :

FirstList is inviting applications for the job post of capital markets lawyer at Mumbai. They are looking for a dynamic Capital Markets Lawyer with 1–3 years of experience to join our team in Mumbai. This role offers hands-on exposure to domestic and offshore public offerings and close interaction with issuers, auditors, and BRLMs.

Eligibility :

1. Candidate should possess strong verbal skill .
2. Strong drafting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
3. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a 3-year or 5-year in-person program.
4. Drafting and negotiating offer-related agreements (Offer Agreement, Syndicate Agreement, Underwriting Agreement, Registrar MoU, Share Escrow Agreement, etc.).

Responsibility :

1. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and handle project deliverables.
2. Drafting and vetting agreements, advising clients on a variety of legal issues, etc.
3. Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, notes, and updates.
4. Draft and review pleadings, written statements, applications, and legal opinions.
5. Candidates will be actively involved in drafting pleadings, preparing case briefs, conducting in-depth legal research, and assisting in briefing the seniors on various matters.
