Call for Papers: Inaugural Edition of the NLUD Journal on ‘LABOUR’ The Centre for Labour Law Research and Advocacy (CLLRA) at NLU Delhi is pleased to invite submissions for the inaugural edition of the NLUD Journal on LABOUR, focusing on the theme ‘Sociology of Labour.’ Sub-Themes: – Nature of work, work relationships, and occupational styles – Various sectors within the informal/formal economy and their political dynamics – Labour and Development discourses on work – Feminist perspectives on Labour, Migration, and Development – Intersectional analyses of Labour confluence – Marginalized labour categories and historical injustices – Structure of Labour Law and its impact on labouring lives – Debates on just transition in labour contexts – New industries, emerging cities, and evolving labour dynamics – Urban development and its implications for labour Types of Submissions: – Special Articles: 8,000-10,000 words – Short Articles: 5,000-8,000 words – Insights/Perspectives: 3,500-4,500 words – Book Reviews/Case Notes: 2,500-3,000 words – Field Notes/Pictorial Commentaries: 1-2 pages Submission Guidelines: – All submissions (excluding book reviews) must include an abstract of no more than 300 words and five key terms. – Word limits include footnotes. – Referencing and citations should adhere to the APA Citation Style.
